Music Clubs

Music clubs at Anlaby Primary School

The children have an opportunity to be part of the Christmas Choir which performs at our popular and successful Christmas Fair run by the PTA. It is a wonderful finale to the whole event and something that everybody like to wait until the end to see. The Christmas Choir also get a chance to perform for the local community when they visit our local Morrison's store- a brilliant opportunity for the local community to see the children and donate to school funds at the same time! The choir is also the backbone for our Christmas service at St Mark's Church at the end of the Autumn Term. The Christmas Choir is open to anybody who just enjoys singing!

We have children in school who have weekly music lessons with Rock Steady. These children perform termly to school and parents as part of mini rock bands- sometimes the staff get involved too.

Other children work with teachers from the East Riding Music Service Team to learn to play guitar, cello and violin.

We are always looking for opportunities to broaden musical activities to our children.
