The unfortunate closure of St Mark's Nursery after so many years of serving the local community is a very sad occasion and we wish all the staff, governors and everybody associated with it over the years our best wishes for the future. The closure of St Mark's and also leave a hole in Nursery Provision in the area and I am sure there are a number of parents who are worried by this turn of events.

At Anlaby Primary School we are hoping to the provision which St Mark's offered and improve upon the good foundations they have built.

In order for us to open a nursery we have to go through a legal procedure to lower the age range of our school. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be able to open a nursery in September and the earliest we will be able to open a nursery will be January 2019.

Please click on the link below in order to find out the detailed proposal of the service we hope to provide. At this stage we are undertaking an informal consultation with parents and carers, local pre-school providers and all other interested parties.

All responses will be considered by the school's Governing Body, who will then make a decision about whether to formally ask the East Riding Council to consider our proposal. If they approve it we will then be able to start our nursery. As this is the informal stage, any responses we receive will be carefully looked at and considered before any decision is made. So please do share your thoughts with us.
